The Apprentice
Our five year old son, Ben, often asks about where I have been taking photographs with a curiosity you could only expect from a kid his age. Several weeks ago I promised I would take him up the mountains where I have been taking photographs recently. With nothing fixed on the agenda this morning and frequent wintery showers I floated the idea of going for a drive up the mountain which he jumped at. The prospect of driving up a mountain with the added bonus of sitting in the front seat of the jeep when off-road conjured up an irresistible adventure in his mind.
We reached our destination and once off-road he jumped into the front seat, armed with his Fisher-Price camera, as we navigated in the forests around the base of Cuilcagh mountain. A heavy snow shower kept us jeep bound for twenty minutes which gave him plenty of opportunity to practice composition and the result is as follows. Good job Ben, nice composition!
