Taking Care of Business

This gentleman named Aidan was kind enough to allow me to take his photograph as he went about his business one Saturday afternoon on his tractor in north Cavan. I can’t help but reflect on the contrast of his technology versus mine (a very technologically advanced Sony A7r camera versus a Ford tractor from the 70’s or 80’s). This diversity in rural Ireland is what still makes it special. Thank you Aidan.

Photo Pick of the Day – On the banks of the River Erne

Today’s pick is a photo I took along the banks of the river Erne on an early Summer’s morning. Myself and my father travelled up the river by boat in a thick bank of fog. As the sun rose the fog burned off slowly leaving a 20-30 minute period of really beautiful light.
